I'm just about to buy a newish example of the D7000, with a shutter count of only 204...I reckon this will be an upgrade on my last camera, a D90.
Has everyone who owns or has owned a D7000, been happy with this camera?

I used two of them professionally for 2 years as upgrades from the D300 - so yes :)

Dave

Much appreciated Dave, I think I just needed one last boost before ordering...All I need now is to find a lens!

I have in the past, had the D90 and the D7000. Really enjoyed them both and yes the D7000 is a worthwhile upgrade if you get it for the right price, its still a very capable camera.

I used one for a couple of years and was more than happy with its performance. I then replaced it with a newer one which I also used for a couple of years.

Check out my website, D7000(s) used 2014-2018

Much appreciated Chris, David and Bob, and apologies for the late reply:) The camera should have been here today, DPD sent an email this morning saying there was an unexpected issue, and then delivered the lens from a different seller! Hopefully tomorrow :giggle:

Yep, great camera. I used it for a couple of years before upgrading to a 7200 (for my APSC)
Very capable, still produces the goods, just not as good as the latest.

I doubt you will be disappointed with it :)

Appreciated Ken :giggle:

It’s a good camera Pete, the one I have just sent to MPB was me second body which I have now replaced with a D7200.

Appreciated Iain:giggle: I looked at a used D7200 at Wex early last week, may be the week before, but again, just a little out of reach after what happened.
I've had the DPD email, the D7000 should be before 3.30 today, I'm very excited:banana:
