The Interval Timer Shooting option is set to take 120 photos with a 1 second interval between each shot (30second exposure, f10). After taking the first photo instead of counting down from 120 shots left to 119 left, it goes it 87 shots left....
By changing the interval time to 30 seconds instead of 1 second between shots, the shots count down as 120, 106, 87.... Now by keeping a 30second interval and changing the aperture to f22 the shots count down as 120, 118, 116, 114... I can not get the count down to go 120, 119, 118, 117 blah blah unless I change the shutter speed to 1/200th..
Wanting to do a star trail having a gap between of 30seconds between photos is not going to work or will it work with a 1/200th shutter speed.
This is happening on my nikon D7000 and also on a nikon D300.
If knows what I am doing wrong, please let me know
Thanks
