:agree: Sony G series 440/400MB/s. I back up to Sandisk Extreme Pro 300MB/s in Slot 2 but this certainly reduces the buffer compared to XQD only.

Sony G series here I got the 64gb one and have had no issues seems to keep up no problem at all :)
then I use a sandisk Extreme in 2nd for backup if needed in jpeg.
think I need to get a XQD reader at some point though :(

If I download from the camera, will it take a LONG time to read from the XQD card?
 
mymemory have 10% off code ( SNOW ) on the Sony cards.
Works out £63 for the 32mb M Series inc delivery but I have no idea if that is a good price for one of those mind you

Lexar ceased trading so anything available is 'old stock' and there is a bit of a struggle getting them back up and running apparently.
 
Another one for the Sony. I use it for sports and wildlife and have never been caught short by hitting the camera buffer.
 
Old thered I know, but in the new year I've deceided I'll treat my D500 to either a 32gb or 64gb XQD Card. Anyone advise the best place to get hold of one of these please (best price), or anyone planning to sell one in the for sale section?
