:help: I am thinking of buying a new lens for my fairly recently purchased Nikon D50 with 18-55mm Kit lens, don't want to spend a fortune but want something fairly decent with reasonable zoom......Advice and ideas will be greatly appreciated :help:
 
Thought about Nikkor 70 - 300mm f4/5.6 G ... :thinking:

Very good lens for a very reasonable price ... imo ... had one with my D70s and it worked a treat ... :thumbs:

Nikon quality at a budget type price ... :D

Arrived this morning before 9am from Bristol Cameras...thats good service:)

Now to find time today to play with it...stand by for a result or two :)
 
Few Test Pics..Not brilliant pics but my first with the new lens just taken over our back garden gate...I'll learn.:)





 
First time you get to use a lens is great isnt it - that anticipation of is it as good as you had hoped :thumbs:

Looks pretty decent, seems to be fine optically, nice smooth colour and picks out detail well (especially between the blacks and whites).

Congratulations :D
