Nikon D50 Shutter count

If you have Flickr you could upload a shot taken in jpeg (not a raw conversion) and the shutter count will be in the exif details.

I think the image viewer program Irfanview can also show the shutter count info if it is contained in the Exif data.

I used to have Irfanview installed, but don't on this computer so can't confirm for sure.

If I was to try and find the info on this computer I would uses a program called Preview Extractor. It is a program which extracts the embedded jpeg from a RAW file. Useful for previewing RAW images. There is also the option to check the shutter count of a camera from the information which is embedded in the RAW file.

I think Preview Extractor should work with the D50, as it works with most Nikon models I think.
