I want to get a battery grip for my Nikon D50 to make it a bit more comfortable as I have large hands.

I've seen this one on ebay and wanted some opinions and also to see if there is anywhere that would either be cheaper or the same price but UK based.

I think the timer feature would come in handy for some of my night time exposures that I enjoy doing (I currently use a timer on my phone lol)

I know that the vertical shutter button will only work when I switch the camera to IR trigger mode so I'm not too bothered about that.

Looks ok for the price, i've purchased from this company before with no problems, although i'm not to keen on those remotes they have, not much good outdoors, i prefer the remote release type, but battery grip certainly looks ok, i know Hahnel also do one for the D50 in the UK but i think it's about £70.

Thanks for the reply, Spoke to a friend who is on here aswell and he said they were good to buy from aswell.

I'm not too bothered about the remote as I already have the nikon one so will sell that on anyway.

Just looked up the Hahnel one and its £62 but hasnt got the LCD screen on it so will go with this one.

Have a search about for the Hahnel one - the D70 version was being sold on Ebay for under £20 delivered not long ago, there's bound to be someone doing a clearance on them somewhere :)
 
Thanks for that Flash, I've done a search over the last few days and can't find any cheap enough so will stick with the ebay one.
