Still got my D3300, the 35mm 1.8G lives on it now. I was using the camera for plinking indoors this morning, I tend not too take it out much nowadays. I tend to pocket the little Canon compact when I go out, even though the Nikon has a far better IQ. I will tend to use the Nikon and the 35mm lens for indoor stuff now.

A very good camera that produces lovely photos, especially with the 35mm 1.8G. I have boxed mine away, as I am more interested in video at the moment.
I went onto photonsto photos and had a look at my cameras. The D3400 came out better than all the others for noise. In fact it was coming out better than full frame pro cameras. I thought that maybe they had just got lucky or had messed up the test. So I compared the noise on a blacked out camera between my D3400 and D7200. Same sensor, similar generation. 30 seconds of ISO 25600 and the D3400 was way better. Can someone else have a go and see if they have similar results.
