To be honest if I studied the manual, I would never get out and use the camera. I tend to simply get out and photo what I see, as I know the basic principles stutter speed and aperture etc. I only ever tend to refer to the manual when I want to set a particular setting, like the time etc. I suppose that is what most of us use it for.'Bout time you read it then![]()
Check out how much it would be to print them and then add a premium for yourself on top of that cost. If your photograph is worthy of someone asking to buy it, then you should let them pay for it.Ok, so weirdest thing..
I’ve post posted this picture to my social media and I’ve had three people ask if I could sell them a copy...
I’m hoping that one day, when I grow up, I want to be a freelance photographer.. But at this time I don’t feel quite comfortable to actually sell my pictures so I’ll probably just get them to pay for printing and postage and send it.
But this has got me thinking.. when I do feel comfortable to sell my work how do I go about it? Anyone got some good links/reads that they can point me toward?
Edit: Do order a small print for yourself to check that the colours print the way you expect them to.

this is with the free DXO11 optics pro used the HDR realistic preset.
I really like the software, considering its free ,very nice of them.
not used RT so cant comment, but im not very fussy these days to be honest,I prefer it to lightroom. Not sure about the noise reduction next to rawtherapee though.
DXO seems to handle colours more to my liking

Any suggestions for a bag which will hold the camera and kit lens on its side, ie lens horizontal?
AL
I use a lowepro
Hundreds of bags on that link - unless you mean the leather, ever ready type.
I need a proper bag though, big enough for a few bits and pieces apart from the camera.
no not that one, hang onI did quite like the look of it, old camera feel to it. Just a read up on it was not too good.,
Someone said the popper buttons were not too good.
