Know the feeling........
On it.How about taking a big umbrella to shoot under

Keep that space for my missus thanks.
Wide angles can make images look distorted. I had the Sigma 10-20mm, got lots in the scene but just too much distortion. I only ended up using it for sprawling beach shots, or blue skies with masses of clouds, distortion did not matter so much then. Stopped going to the beach, and never ever seems to be blue skies with fluffy clouds. I ended up selling the lens, the 18mm of the kit lens does me fine now.just wondered if anybody had any recommendations for a budget lenses for a d3400, only have the kit lens at the moment and looking to add a wide angle for landscapes and a zoom I can use for sport/nature or, if there is a lens out there that can cope with both
Lens distortion is very well managed in most RAW processing programs these days. And with the latest lens profiles updated on your camera, the in camera Jpegs come out well adjusted too.Wide angles can make images look distorted. You need one of those 2 things, or a wifi adapter.Dilemma!
How can I get my images from my D3300 onto my desktop? Without using a cable or memory card adapter?
Can't find my damn cable.. or the dog has eaten it..
Transfer to Phone then from your Phone to PC...I have a wifi adapter.. thought that was only good for a phone? Or can I install that software on PC then?
I would imagine there are settings to decide that. But they need editing.. don't the files get formatted to jpeg when going onto phone?

Almost certain, I've seen screen shots of the app with NEF files in the gallery.

Long exposures with a lot of white in the sky are going to be difficult without filters.I used drop box in the end.
I use an iPhone and refuse to install iTunes on my computer. I just factory reset my pc yesterday cause i hadn't used it for literally 2 years so it was full of junk... not quite ready to fill it up yet.
Having a couple of issues installing Lightroom on my pc so here's my first phone edit from today's shoot at Ladybower Reservoir.

My first day using a tripod and long exposures. Was a lot of fun, although kept blowing the sky out. Any PP tips on getting the clouds back?
Multiple exposures may be needed.Although, I hesitate to add, its a cheap ND8 filter - I assume this is where I've gone wrong...
