Anyone any views on this kit? Thinking of upgrading. Wondering what views people have about second hand buys like this?
 
12 MP is too low in my opinion.

The D4 is a much better buy if you can stretch to it.
 
Thanks fuji, I wondered that. I was hoping 12 MP be ok for normal size stuff, what u think?
 
12mp is more then enough for most things.....I had a shot from a d3s used as advertising on the side of London buses a few years ago. You can print big enough....if m the price is right and you are good with it being a heavy camera then go for it. You'll. love it
 
I've seen very nice 4 foot wide prints from a 6MP Canon 10D in an exhibition. Pixel count doesn't matter much if the image is interesting. If the picture doesn't interest the viewer then 50MP won't make it any better.
 
It's a great camera just old in the sense of 'spares & repairs' ... a good example will last years longer.
