Yes
I'm thinking of getting a Nikon D300 when I'm over in the US next week. Does anyone know what software is included in the Software Suite that comes with the camera?

If you buy it in this country you get a whole plethora of stuff you can get at the Nikon web site for free anyway + you get CaptureNX which retails around £120

What you get in the States is anybody's guess ;)

Why not log onto a U.S. based camera shop or Nikon U.S. and see what is included.

Hi Chuckles. Thanks for the fast response.

Trouble is I don't live in the UK. I usually use Grays of Westminster when in the UK (Superb Place). However I'll be in the US for my Birthday and my Wife and Son wanted to get me the camera whilst there.

Hi PSI. Already tried that as well as e-mailing retailers to be told it comes with the Nikon Software Suite. Nikons D300 brochure also no help, also lists Nikon Software Suite (whatever that is)

Thanks very much. Will give it a try. I was aware of Nikon UK providing Capture NX as posted by Chuckles as a few members here had already mentioned it.

To be honest it is probably all irrelevant as I will prob get it anyway, it's just curiosity mixed with the fact that I dont get things like this every week, so it is special.

I got mine in from HK came with the Japanese language version of NX.

I just downloaded the English language version and entered my key.

Works fine.

Looks like it comes with NX in the US too (some got the CD, others had to download the trial and use the key.) Either would be cool.

What do you think of Capture NX? Do you use it?

I use it but also have Lightroom and CS3 Extended. As a recent (very) convert from film to digital I'm still coming to terms with the plethora of options I now have at my fingertips.

Wouldn't be without it! Does like the taste of memory a bit though :(

Thanks Guys. Your help and advice is superb. Really appreciate it. Will post a few shots when I get back.
