I have been noticing recently a lot of dirt through the viewfinder of my camera that has not been showing up in photos. It hasnt really bothered me untill now when it has got completley filthy. I have tried cleaning the mirrors before but some of the dirt still remains. Could it be on the focusing screen? If so is there any way to clean it like i know there is in a Canon?

Thanks in advance

If the dirt's not on the mirror then it'll probably be on the prism - a nice strong airblower should do the trick for the majority of the dirt! The prism is directly above the mirror.

Common for dust to get on the back face of the pentaprism :( and the only way I know of to remove it is to pay £30 to a service agent, who even then doesn't guarantee to get them off. Using a blower usually puts more dust up there IMHO.
