Yes
Yes it's true! If you google search "Nikon D300;" the first sponsored link is for the D300 body only cheaper, even with collect in-store, than any other search.

It's currently at £950 and £954 through Camera Price Buster, but the free lowepro Rezo 160 from Jessops is no longer valid.

I've just clicked that link... it's quoting me £979.99! How strange!

oooh sneaky. Its now quoting me 979.99 too!
Must be per session-cookies I think.

Jessops did my body for £965 at the start of this month - combo of web discount code and plain old haggling:)

When you're spending nearly £1000 on a camera body, the odd £15-£20 begins to look insignificant. I'd be looking for quality of after-sales service as well. With the Big J, I can walk into the shop and get it sorted!!

Hmmmm, I was bored and tried my own tip and it doesn't show it anymore! If it has exprired, then I'm lucky I picked mine up yesterday!

Ah, try this link. It's obviously an agreement between Google and Jessops only that allows the user to pay the cheapest price ONLY if the link is clicked from Google.

Under a grand alrealy ..... Nikon gear for you

Are these prices with Capture NX, or is that no longer on offer?

According to the manager in my local Jessops, only the first batch(es) of the D300 and D3 came with a full version of Capture NX. They only come with a trial version since.

I bought a D300 from Jessops on 30/5, mine came with a full version of capture NX, there's a sticker on the box that says release campaign
