On the camera I have a choice of colour space, sRGB or Adobe. Which one should I use? I would also like to know why.

I shoot in raw. Process in PS Elements 8. I then save to JPEG before uploading to website or an online photobook provider.

Thanks for your advice.

sRGB is the colour choice. Adobe has a wider gamut (I believe) that most printers won't recognise and may bring odd results.

I've always shot and processed with sRGB and never had a problem.

If you shoot in RAW, then you choose the Colorspace when you process the files into Jpegs or Tiffs. The Colorspace only applies to the Jpeg produced in camera.

The general advice is to use sRGB until you know the benefits of Adobe RGB, and whether your photography will benefit from it, and that you know how to process the files correctly.
