Hey,

I'm looking for two Nikon compatible flashes but i have no idea on the subject hence why I'm asking you kind clever people!:D

Please could you help me out, I'm looking for two flashes where one (on camera) can wireless set off the other flash (I'm pretty sure its possible).

Thanks in advance

the SB 600, 800 and 900 are all wireless, have CLS, talk to the camera etc.. depends what you want to spend. I regularly use sb800's and they are the DB's (for a small flashgun)

With a D60 you'll need one flash that will work as a commander/master, so for that you'll need either a secondhand SB-800 (around £200-250) or a new SB-900 (around £300-350). For the second flash you can use either of the above or an SB-600 ((from £150 used- £220 new)

Perfect, thanks :D:thumbs:

Are there not also 3rd party flashes that can act as master/commander? I'm sure Flash In The Pan will answer this very soon! :D

Can't remember/find the thread that was about the same subject a couple of weeks ago...

I think there are (Metz? Nissin?) but I'd rather pay the extra and buy Nikon, you're guaranteed it'll work and you'll get more of your money back if you decide to sell later on.

Ah, that's right... more bang for your buck (and a lot more power) with the Metz if I remember correctly...
