Nikon CLS and softbox query

Hi,

With my birthday approaching the good lady wife has offered to get me something for the camera. I have been messing around with off camera flash and would like to get a softbox for portraits mainly.

It is probably a simple question but........will the Nikon CLS be able to trigger a SB-700 if it has a softbox attached?

I have been looking at the Lastolite Ezybox Hotshoe Kit, not sure of size yet.

Any advise would be gratefully received.

Yes, you can use the Ezybox with CLS without problem, as long as you have the main body of the speedlight positioned so the sensor can "see" the camera.

Thank you Graham, I saw a photo on the Lastolite website just after posting that showed an SB-900 at a 90 degree angle and thought 'yep, that's probably the way to do it' doh!
