I have received my Nikon Cashback of £175 after the purchase of my D810.

I'll probably save it for a while but if I decided not to what could I be tempted to buy?

Answers on a postcard or perhaps even on this thread.

If the cashback came by means of a Citibank card, beware of the buried terms and conditions attached to this card. If the card is not used for 6 months, Citibank start to help themselves to some of the balance each month, after 12 months they snaffle the entire balance if the user has not requested an extension to the validity date before it expires. There was no mention of these charges on the Nikon website whatsoever.

If you have a paypal account can you not pay it in then withdraw to a different account as cash?

Worth knowing, thank you.

Jim,

I expect I can, there will probably be a 'cash withdrawal charge' but it will realise the cash.

Looking at various websites seems to point to the fact that I can use it at any ATM, I have been given a PIN for it; I'll try that tomorrow.

I used mine to get cash from an ATM (once it had been refused and I stropped about it!) :D

No charges were made either!
