Hi

Im thinking of buying a Nikon AF-S 35mm f1.8 G DX Lens and currently it has £20 cashback making it £128. What have your experiences been like? Easy/hard/quick or drawn out. I understand its put onto a prepaid card, I assume its spendable anywhere.

Also would the above lens be recomended for car shows. Will be outside, I like to get up close ao no one can get between me and the subject.

Thanks very much in advance

Jim

Had cash back a few times from nikon, plain sailing and as you say credit is loaded on a card to spend any where, although its not really cash back as you cant put it back in your bank.

Just had a thought, if she sees me with another credit card - she'll kill me lol

I've done it. Find it just a bit long and drawn out by Nikon but once you've got the card you can use it to buy yourself an Amazon gift card and use it towards almost anything.

I did it as well, have to send pictures of warranty card and receipt they then send you a prepaid card. No hassle really.

It was really easy - got the £120 prepaid card for my D610 within about 2 weeks of submitting the claim - it's all done online in a few minuutes including uploading a copy of your sales receipt. The prepaid visa card is quite handy as avoids having to pay in a cheque and waiting for it to clear.
