Nikon Capture N-XD file size

I have been using Capture N-XD for a little while now. Set to excellent quality, it was asking to specify image size, long edge short edge. If I untick the box, it saves file at 6000 x 4000. I was just wondering, is that the default? Sorry to ask such a silly question. I did do a search, nothing came up. I just can't remember dimensions.

The default (with 'specify size' unchecked) should be the full pixel dimensions of the sensor - looks like you have a 24MP camera. This is separate to 'image quality', which specifies how the compression algorithm works (the pixel dmensions won't change, but higher levels of compression are more likely to give you visible artefacts).

Yes, Nikon D3300. It was just I changed the dimension to create smaller files, to upload to TP. So since then, all RAW conversion have been small files. Been trying to change the settings back. Just left the dimensions box unticked, and hope they convert as before.
