Nikon today has announced three new lenses: the PC-E Nikkor 24mm f/3.5D ED Tilt/Shift, AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED and AF-S DX Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. In addition, the company has said that two additional PC (perspective control) lenses are in the works: a PC-E Micro Nikkor 45mm f/2.8D ED and a PC-E Micro Nikkor 85mm f/2.8D ED.

16-85mm VR looks like a good move - I was just saying last night to a mate how disapointed I was in Nikon's VR line up at the wider end. Let's hope it's as sharp as the 18-70mm is.

Although personally I am still disapointed that Nikon still don't have an f2.8 VR for the shorter focal length.

Woho! I like the look of all those lenses. Ive been looking at PC Micro lenses as ive got plans to try them for insect macrography. The 60mm AF-S is also a great inclusion to the range. Good work Nikon, now go back and give us some better D60 specs. :)
