Also interesting that the D7100 isn't included here, but the `kit` is in the good old US of A
 
Nikon doesn't need to as the d800 is very cheap for what it is. Come to think of it, so is the d600.

Typical, just ordered a D600, several days ago from HDEW.

I take it I'm okay to use distance selling regulations to cancel? Should I do this now or wait until receipt of the camera?

Not impressed with HDEW. Placed order on Friday, had no confirmation, so had to ring to be told they took my email address down incorrectly. Even though I spelt my surname out to them and they were okay with the credit card!

Rang Wednesday, to be told it would be posted today for delivery tomorrow and would be emailled dispatch confirmation, but again no email :nono:

If this is what they are like, with the sale, it doesn't give me confidence in them if something goes wrong.
 
Do it now if it hasn't shipped, saves posting back at your cost. No hassle for either party.
 
Have sent them an email, stating that I wish to cancel and asking for them to confirm full refund, by email reply.
 
HDEW have emailed to confirm cancellation and full refund :)

D600 now ordered with WEX.
 
Thanks Nikonuser for the heads up and twist for the advice.

New D600 arrived this morning. Slight panic, as box in was packed in, stated Canon EOS 600D + 18-55 kit lens... ahhhh :(

Thankfully box only contained Nikon product :)

Given the Nikon cashback and quidco cashback, price is just slightly higher than with HDEW, but now have "offical" Nikon 2 year warranty.

One happy bunny and it's not even Easter yet :lol:
