Does anyone on here use the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens at all, I got a second hand 75-300mm lens years ago and it seems to be on its last legs - autofoucs becoming slower and sometimes stops working at all.
I have seen the Nikon lens for £199 on Amazon and am thinking of giving it a go - would be interested in what anyone else thinks of it. I would be using it mainly for avation photography and am not totaly sure how VR affects things but would I be right in saying this will allow me to get sharper shots and or use lower shutter speeds than would be possible without a VR lens ?
