Nikon 70-300vr

Hi all, Just a quickie, I presume i can use a convertor on a 70-300vr and still have the vr capability on this lens, it will be a Nikon tc convertor.

Hi Kev,

don't think this will work, as it will make the lens F8 and would make it manual focus only at longer end and I'm not even sure if it would fit anyway, I am sure one of the Nikon users will be along soon and confirm.

I have tried mine on my Jessops 2 x teleconvertor, It doesn't focus, and the VR doesn't work.

Maybe because its a Jessops own one though!

I've got the 1.4x Nikon TC and with my 70-300VR, as others have mentioned, it's practically useless!

Hi thanks guys, i have had a look on the nikon website and looking at the spec on Convertors, the only one that they specify to work with vr is the TC17E
