Yes
On the verge of getting the Nikon 70-300 VR for my D80. Cheapest seems to be Warehouseexpress at £320, which is the same as Jacobs,etc...
Anywhere cheaper? I bought the camera from WE, so quite happy going back there. Or is there a Nikon version of Kerso? Not keen on buying from HongKong unless you can persuade me otherwise

If you want to find the cheapest mainstream UK retailers, go to Camera Price Buster. Or, give Martin's Camera Shop a ring - they're often happy to match or beat other people's prices, and the customer service is superb. (I get most of my stuff from them, and that's a lot of lenses!)

You might need to be careful about buying Nikon lenses from overseas . Nikon warranties on such items aren't valid, so you'll be relying on a warranty given by the retailer. But then I've heard some real horror stories about the way Nikon has handled genuine warranty claims in the past, so perhaps you wouldn't actually be losing out...

He's right you know :)

from Nikon's website.

What does owning a "Grey Market" Nikon product mean to you?
Nikon European offices cannot provide any technical support or warranty service for Grey Market product, additionally they may not perform any fee-based repair work on Grey Market products. Contact the reseller or importer of your Grey Market products for warranty and service information as well as software updates and downloads.

:thumbs:Cheers guys. I'll send Kerso a PM. I did notice the one in the classifieds, but would prefer to go new

With regard to lenses it does say

Aye, it does. I'd suspect though that they're talking about equipment sourced through what they would describe as legitimate or approved channels, especially when they highlight grey goods in the FAQ's. Could be wrong mind :)

I got the 70-300mm VR off Kerso a couple of months ago. Went to him direct and got £10 off his Ebay price.

So it was £300. Paid the money into his account one day, he sent it the next, and I got it the day after. Marvellous. :D

He did have it in stock though obviously. ;)

Order placed with Kerso:thumbs:
