Been seriously trying to hold off buying this but I think I may have just been tipped over the edge!

Has anyone purchased their 'unsealed' deals? Why are they unsealed etc?

Go to bottom of page of link given and click FAQ for more explanation. It is possibly stuff returned in the seven days DSR's. Distance Selliong Regulations.

I ordered one of these today.

If you check there other items for sale there is a few more listed.

I will be ex display/demo products. Should still carry the Nikon warranty though?

Just got mine today - looks brand new & unused, box a wee bit tatty.

Mike, I'm being stupid here, but the Nikon UK website accepted the serial number - I take it I now have the year's manufacturer's warranty on top of the 3 months from the retailer?

Still slightly in shock at the bargain!

In the same boat, not entirely sure what the deal was with these as to what's happened to them in the past but apart from the box (and the fact I had an 18-200mm manual in there as well as the one I should have). I personally couldn't tell the difference between this and brand new.

Delighted with it so far, quite a step coming from my 35mm prime I've been using for ages though!

Haven't even used a zoom lens before so came as quite a shock seeing the sheer size of it!
