Nikon 55-200 VR

Does anyone know if there have been two VR versions of this lens as well as the non-VR model? I'm sure I read that there were but can't find it again. Any pointers would be gratefully received.

Your not getting it mixed up with the 18-200 VR are you which has a VRII now (since about 2009 iirc) :shrug:

I have only known the 55-200 to come as non VR & VR...

I think you are right. The 55-300 also has a VR II version so I must have 'assumed' that all the zooms had been upgraded.
