Imo i'd go D90. Better built body, still does video and has a Motor Built in.

With the current d90 prices for new and the rrp of the d5100 i think the d90 looks like a better option. Much better built, in-body focus motor (may save you money in the long run) the downside is that you lose hd video, articulating screen and slightly better high ISO performance (if d5100 has the same sensor as the d7000) their handling may also differ a lot so you should handle both before deciding...

Unless video or size is really important to you, go for the D90. I got a D5000 and 6 months later I wish I'd got a D90. :bonk:
