Hi there,

Looking for some advice, I purchased a Nikon 35mm DX prime lens last week, the first one I returned as the front was wobbling about (the glass was moving too), the second one is fine however I noticed last night inside there is a small blemish on what I think is the focus element and there is a small hair in there too!

To be honest, I can't see anything coming out on any photos, but it's bugging me none the less - I wouldn't want to discover later on in under certain conditions the mark on the glass showing up, and be stuck with it. I know it's a cheap lens but I would have thought the glass should be free of marks.

What do you think, I can exchange it if I want to but thought I'd ask here first to see what people reckon is acceptable?

Cheers

Exchange it. If you brought it new you would expect it as new not with hair in it.

I would say if its new change it,because at a later date if you want to move it on,people will notice them :)
