Im looking to buy one of these as I used one the other day. I want to buy either a new or used one, before looking on any web pages such as amazon etc I wanted to see if anyone was selling one on here?

So feel free to help me in my quest to find one of these lenses.

Thanks guys.

I would personally go for the 35, it's a beautiful lens on a crop body and if you ever wanted to go up to FF, you'd still be impressed. they are both wonderfully sharp wide open and stopped down, even sharper.

There are forum rules anyway, and if you are looking for one. Post in the wanted section, or browse the ads yourself!

Thanks buddy :) i was thinking about the 35mm as Iv just used one the other day and the shots were amazing, sharp, the 1.8 makes it amazing if im honest, I saw on my d7000 it go down to 1.8 I was like WOW!! haha. Great lens, Great prices.:thumbs:

The 35's are fantastic lenses, but the f/1.8 is DX only, an the f/1.4 is serious money.

The 35mm ex lens is good for the price. Yet to try a 50mm on my D7000 but its looking like I might buy one soon for taking portrait pictures.

Well I did a quick snap of my girl friend when I went climbing the other day, it was a quick point and shoot as I was testing it as a friend owns it. The result of the image came out great. So I thought I`ll maybe get one.

On a crop body, a 35mm is the closest to a "standard" lens. On FF, 50mm is that. Unless you really want/need the extra shallow DoF that an f/1.4 gives over the very slightly (? 1/3rd stop?) f/1.8, I would save the pennies and go for the f/1.8.

The wanted section is where the enquiry about anyone having one for sale should be, or spend a couple of minutes perusing the for sale section.

Thanks for the suggestions and tips guys :) Nod, thanks I think I will end up saving, I`m on ebay at the moment might have one for less than £30 but its on for 2 days still so I reckon it`ll shoot right up, im not much of an ebayer haha

Try MPB (they have a banner ad at the top of the page)

I have both in 1.8 versions but use the 35mm 90% of the time, can always crop it later. Excellent lens, highly recommended. I was finding Amazon had best prices when I looked recently, not sure if that's still the case though.
