If these pictures are real and not generics go for it.
Mine I bought new some 20+ years ago and will
keep it for ever.

Ask how much it would cost to remove the inside dust
as said in the description.

It is… pre VR.

Maybe not for you as shooter… one has to test if
the results are affected.
Certainly not for proper technicians.​

They have a guaranty period anyway.

I would have it done… but that's just me!

1996-2001 it will have good IQ and being AF-S will be fast enough, not sure on the availability of spares.
You should be able to pick up a Mk2 for around the same price ... there is one in the classifieds, (sold 'on behalf of'), with a small issue with the lens hood screw.
