nikon 300 2.8 vr for sale on fleabay!!!!!!

Having only just bought one of these lenses myself in the last few weeks, this is of real interest....

However I have to say that tempting as the eBay price is, with the seller having just 9 feedbacks I think this really does seem to be a case of 'if it seems too good to be true.....'
 
BIN $1500 and it's new :thinking: ... SCAM!
 
My exact thoughts. Need a replacement for my 300ED 2.8 but i will keep looking. cant justify the new price so need to find a good 2nd hand one.

the usual story, if its to good to be true avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I see it has been removed now, presumably eBay monitoring picked it up?

I am a big fan of eBay but it is not the place I would be buying items for more than around £100. I only buy things from individual sellers if the amount is small enough for me write off (although saying that I have had no problems to date with my 1,000 transactions.)
