Nikon 300 2.8 Owners - Strap Question

Morning all I’m sure I asked this question before but can’t find it and nothing really came of it!

So I don’t want to to attach a strap to the camera

I currently have a black rapid which would screw on to the bottom of the of the foot which means I have to remove the we plate for the Manfrotto gimbal

Which strap Can I use which would attach to the lens?

Is it longer than a normal seller neck strap

It's longer and wider at the lugs, but it has to stay connected at all times unless you are happy taking it on and off.

I will be interested on how you get on. I've thought about the PD slide previously but discounted it as I wasn't so sure about the strength rating the dyneema anchors and the overall strap length for a large lens. I couldn't find much info on what lens/camera combinations they recommend.

This can attach wothout ever removing the ARCA plate, its what I keep on my body, and have used a 300 2.8....
