Nikon 24-70 / 28-70 F2.8

Oops. Might have been me that bought on eBay. Buy it now at 695. Just moving to Nikon, it'll be my one and only lens. Also sourced D700. Both should arrive tomorrow.
Won't sleep tonight. Trembling with excited anticipation.

Me too got the 17-35 f2.8 and recently acquired a mint- 28-70 f2.8, looking for a 70-200 f2.8 now to make up my version of the 'Holy Trinity'.
The 17-35 has a squeaky motor, but it works OK, so I'm holding off paying for a repair until it is needed.

The 28-70 (with apologies to Richard Curtis and Ben Elton) is as sharp as a sharp thing which won first prize in a sharpness contest !

The holy trinity for that era would be the 80-200 af-s
