Any one know of where the Nikkor 24-70 2.8 is in stock, seem to be having trouble locating one in stock. And I know a few have recently purchased this on here so any help appreciated:thumbs:

I tried but had no answer, close to closing time I think it was. Will try tomorrow though, thanks for the reply:)

Tried Jacobs as they said "in stock" on the site but they had nothing and said they would not get stock till end on Jan for anyone else interested.
 
i got one from warehouse express 2 weeks ago and they said they had 5, but they were selling fast.
 
I wonder if a few outlets with stock are saying they don't have any so as to create false demand - then when the prices go up in the New Year the old stock, bought in at old prices (but brand new) will appear at the new, raised price?

Cynical? Me?

Maybe, but I thought businesses would be desperate to take as many sales as poss at this moment in time, and would be a gamble when customers could potentially go elsewhere if they were holding stock back.

Doesnt sound all that sensible to me. Unless they are working as a cartel! :lol:

Admittedly, not the cheapest around, but was quick, and they were awsome to deal with. Which imho is worth a little premium.

Yeah the hassle free transactions are worth the extra cash, as I have found out over the past month or so.

Ordered with Park Cameras if anyone is interested in getting this lens too. they have a few in stock.
