Nikon 135mm f2.8

Just won a nikon 135 f2.8 lens ( in good condition)for the sum of £19.78plus £5 postage.Do not know anything about these lens, but for that price I thought it would be worth having a play about with it.To use on my D300.
Any advice would be helpful.

I had the f/3.5 version (probably still have it in a drawer somewhere come to think of it) and its a lovely lens.

You just can't beat older pre-AF lenses for build quality, and "feel" IMHO.
