Just thought I would let you guys know the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens is on today's lightning deals today at 4.29pm at amazon.

This also qualifies for £40 cashback :)

Interestingly, the listing has now changed to being sold by an Amazon marketplace dealer. Have emailed Amazon to ensure the one I've ordered was sold by Amazon and is eligible for the £40 cashback. The confirmation of order shows sold by Amazon, so should be OK. But if anyone else is looking be aware.

This happened to me monday (i bought the 70-300 on lightning deal) and when i clicked the link again it went as a marketplace seller, but after conversing with amazon's customer service chat (and later on the lens invoice in the package), it confirmed it was amazon that sold it, not a marketplace seller, so I think you'll be fine :)

I think we only saw it as people are only allowed one of the deal, so if another person had looked (presuming 100% of the items hadn't been sold - which was very quick with that lens) they probably would have seen amazon as the seller :)

I think it was a really good deal at £160 (after cashback)!
