I was playing with it long time ago, I don't remember it being totally bad.
I would advise all potential buyers to manage their expectations. It's not a prime or holy trinity lens, but for this price...

It isn't I had one for a while ... for its price it is a reasonable walkabout lens, not 'Nikon best' but certainly useable.
