I have tried the Nik complete suite and really want it. The recent announcement of Google purchasing the company made me stop from buying it but it seems Google is going to invest in future products etc.

Anyway, my question is, what version to get. I use LR4 and PS CS5 and i just can't decide if it's worth the extra money to buy the PS version to cover all grounds or just get the LR version and do all of my editing with Nik through LR..?

What versions do you use and why?

I use the photoshop versions, although I don't use the suite, I tend to only use silver effx and colour effx (and that not much), I had so much trouble with the hdr effx I gave up (did eventually get it working ) I suppose it depends what your working with mostly.
 
Thanks for the input. I think the HDR is the only one I'd not use. The other elements look like being very useful.
 
I'm like Wayne Color Efex & Silver Efex only with CS5, I guess if you are sure you will use them all (or most) then you need to think about how much you use LR4 & CS5 to determine whether or not you could survive with it only being on LR4.
 
I've silver efex, colour efex and HDR efex. I've not used the HDR once more than twice, the other two I use on almost every photo (maybe just to see how it looks, not always to keep). I must do 99% of this in Lightroom alone but the ability to do adjustments as smart layers in photoshop (so you can go back and edit) is a big plus I regret not using more.
