Nightmare Wedding Shots.

I wanted to see them - .

There's no way I could have posted them anyway - they're not mine to publish, but to give you an idea - there were a couple of dozen shots of the couple in the shade under a tree against a bright sunlit background. In every shot the couple are almost a solid silhouette. I asked the guy why he wasn't using flash and he said he was! :shrug:I tried pulling the shadows up in raw processing in a couple and they're just not recoverable.

The problem is everything you say to him he has this "You don't need to be telling me this" attitude which makes you lose all patience with him. I offered to sort them out for silly money against my better judgement out of sympathy for the couple, certainly not for him, so he's had his chance and I'm definitely not doing them.

I don't even know where he lives. I think he's local as I see him around occasionally, but he knows me as a photographer from years ago and unfortunately he knows where I live. :D

I know you shouldn't laugh but I'm in pain at just how bad they must be!!

If there's a 'crap wedding photos site' somewhere in the world, please try and sneak one on there ;)

I'll just put this down over here, shall I? :D

Being asked to work on awful images is my nightmare, It often happens when i shoot sports etc.

Oh come on, these are the easiest to fix. You don't even need photoshop, ms paint will be fine if you have the original raw to work on.

Now this is just meant as an example, as i only have small images to hand, but this only took me 25-30 mins and shows just how much can be pulled back from a silhouette. I'm sure the guy you are helping out will be lost for words!

LOL at the pic ^^

I really wanna see these "nightmare shots". As a few have already said, i'd take nothing to do with them.
