Nightclub Photography

The tillate contract might prevent this tbh, its a very long and detailed contract you have to sign (including signing over all copyright to them etc..) unloess its changed since I saw it last.

Its also funny is they give you a deadline when the pics have to be online (usually by 12-2pm the next day)

NMW is £5.80 - the main rate for workers aged 22 and over
£4.83 - the 18-21 rate.
If you were working for free, or below this rate, then the employer was breaking the law.

great post, this really does bring us to the crux of the matter. How does this relate to certain sites if they ask photographers to work a set number of nights, with a deadline?

Personally, I think it would be just if companies in violation were forced to pay photographers back at the minimum wage.

Ive been playing with the settings all day my god theres so much to think about!

I keep getting confused reading all these different opinions lol

Popping out tonight to give it a whirl...

The internal camera won't take pics like those posted on here will it... with the colour in the background?

At the mo i have it on manual with the settings at...

shutter 1/10
F5.3 (it won't let me go any lower)
ISO 800

I have just been getting into the same thing myself recently just down the road from you in southend.
I wont repeat what has been said already as you have some good advice now on what kit would be suitable.

The hardest part of nightclub photography i have found is the politics and getting your foot in the door. Fortunately you seem to have that covered so the best of luck to you. :)
