Night Photography Locations - North Notts

Afternoon all, looking for some advice. I want to do some night photography this weekend before I settle down to the early morning rugby and have no idea where are some decent sites/locations - any shouts greatly appreciated, thanks. Dave. Ps. Live Mansfield way.
 
what type of photography mate? night shots of?
do you mean trails?

if so the light trail maps is a good palce to start see if theres anything local.
 
Hi Mark, was thinking of taking pics of landmarks that might be lit up, or town/city centres from higher ground but I do live in Mansfield if you know what I mean... Thought about going on motorway bridge and catching trails of car lights etc but just want to make sure i'm not missing anything obvious and wanted to pick peoples brains. Cheers bud, Dave.
 
How about down at Kingsmill res looking toward the hospital? The coloured lights from KMH will reflect off the water. Or maybe on the MARRS road looking towards the turbines, if the moon is favorable that might make a nice shot.
 
dont really know mansfield and ive done a quick search on here, theres not much by looks of it. lol.

id imagine going into the town centre and have awonder round mate, see what you can find.

Maybe hook up for an outing sometime?
