Nifty Fifty Week Image Thread. Post your images here.

Topsy's 50 shot with a 50 #1.

Shot on a Leica D-Lux Typ109 lens set at 50mm in 3x2 aspect ratio and B&W because it suits the image and the M2 is currently loaded with Tri-X which if I finish the roll in time I will add a shot from it in here. A twofer would you believe. :ROFLMAO: The only PP I have done is to resize the jpg for upload otherwise SOOC.

A bit naff, but............... The weather's not good here. I went to the loft to get THAT TREE down and while I was there found my old 50mm lens. I thought I still had one of the 35mm bodies to put it on but they seem to have had a one way trip to a skip. I had about four but none of them worked.
30mm on a crop Canon so 48mm equivalent, 1/13 sec, f4, iso 400, built in flash only, on the living room floor.

Don't give up the day job, Jan.................

So I took myself off to the train station and tried a bit of street photography which really takes me out of my comfort zone.

I really wish I could get into taking pictures of strangers but I just feel so awkward.

Hope these are okay. Weather has been rubbish so tried out the new 50 mm 1.8 on the dog (only one in the house that listens to me).

Some good images in this thread, and I'm glad I'm not the only one being taken out of their comfort zone by the poor weather.
I did get out for a walk this morning, though it was a bit damp at times. I walked down through the park of the local 'Big House'. There's a tree there my partner and I have always loved as it's big and old and gnarly and it looks like there are faces peering out of it. When I got to it I found that it had come down and was in the process of being chopped up. A large chunk of uprooted trunk still lay on the ground and I was glad to see at least some of the 'little people' are still home as a toad blinked at me. Well I thought it looked like a toad. I could of course have just drunk a bit too much wine last night................

Day two - so dark now and I am trying to copy the learning from my course on my S5 (I take my M50 mk ii to the course). So many more options to choose on the S5 it appears.

Mainly rain and drizzle here today and unless I get time to do some indoor set ups it's unlikely I'll get anything until next weekend so I took the camera for a walk and did get a bit of light later on. Sony A7 iii with adapated Canon 50 1,8

Inspired by the git that is Dobby, I'd like to present my own git.

This is Jack (he did have a sister called Coke).

He's OK with me, but insists on joining in all my wife's video calls. Quite often poking his tea towel holder right in front of the camera.

(If you zoom in to the flickr image on the first one, you can see the reflection of me laying on the floor holding the flash on my left hand.)
