Yes
We all have them whats yours and why. And do you still get called it.

Mine was yeti because of my size and i had long hair.

I never had one :(

Never had proper nickname, although best mate calls me ginger lilly ( not quite sure where that came from hehe) and more recently his son went from calling me 'uncle steve' to 'uncle cheese' so that has now stuck for a bit! ( kid is only 22 months old so was cute) much better than my cousins kid who when young either called me daddy ( both myself and her dad are ginger. Quite embarrassing at times hehe) or as unable to say Steven called me uncle seemen . Im now liking ginger lilly!! Haha

My parents used to call me CJ, and certain relatives would even call me "Clum", both of which I absolutely despise and on making it clear that I do, don't get called them... I wouldn't mind being nicknamed Kaz or something equally as hipster/cheesy and in reality I wouldn't mind a total first name change... Callum doesn't really tickle my bacon...

Brussel Sprout, Russell the Brussel, Bigfoot (size 13 feet), Geek and Sheps.

My 4 year old niece has been calling me "Uncle Loser" (complete with hand gesture) since she was about two as I called my Mum a loser (complete with hand gesture) and Libby caught me doing it. Like most 18-24 month olds she copied me........ My sister told her that she was only allowed to call me "loser" so I was henceforth known as "Uncle Loser"

Mines smurf , I got it about 18yrs ago as I was the only one in the group under 6'6" lol I'm only 5,5" so it's stuck and even the kids have been known to use it :-(

Could be worse, there's a guy who works at my place who's about the same height, he's known as "little Rob", at least your's is a little more imaginative!

As in ruth tyler = roof tiler.

Mank.... and its not because I stick or anything!

Its my last name and everyone seems to call it me that know me.

I have many nicknames, Sister-in-law has always called me Pod (not sure why) since she was 13, she's now 36. One nephew calls me Newb as that's what I called his Mum once. At work, I get called, Warrior (on account of working out and being a fan of WWWF wrestler Ultimate Warrior), then aload of stranger ones all dreamt up by one bloke which are- Keegan, Spike Nilagin (as in Milligan) Damo Neilagin, Arnold Schwazenkeegan,

I used to get called "Disco" due to previous music taste in my younger years.

I've had a couple. The oldest is Mig. I read the Meg and Mog books as a child and I called them Mig and Mog. I got called Mig Mog for a while which got shortened to Mig. My brother is about the only person that calls me that still.

Braveboy came from a couple of nights out with my mates several years ago. On the first night (after a couple) I slipped over in the kebab shop and whacked my knee which bought a few tears to my eyes, even in my drunk state I knew that would hurt for a while! The second night out (about a month later) I did exactly the same thing but this time without the tears so my mate called me Braveboy and he's about the only person that's called me that in the last 5 years now!

Never had a nickname but a colleague at work has the surname "Wood"

We call him Pecker...

oh he luvs that...

I know its childish, but hell I can't stop laughing......(genuine) LOL

in fact I can't say it without.......pecking something imaginary

*grows up*

ehem

my brother couldnt say kirsty when he started talking so he called me dodo, it stuck. no idea where he got it from and no i dont look like the extinct bird! lol
At school i was twiggy or turkey, twiggy because i was size 6 and no idea why turkey, n one calls me them any more though.

callum, never had you down as a callum. I would have said you were a mark or a luke

my nickname has always been "genius" due to the fact that I've always been a genius. Simple really, but true.

When I played cricket I got the nickname "Wingnut", I always had a crop and my poor ears seem to stick out, I didn't think so though.

Hi Joe

I suspect it was the sarcasm truck that delivered that nickname ;)

Regards,

Slim

My nickname came when I was in primary school and was basically was my surname (MacDonald) shortened to Mackie. It stuck throughout school and into secondary school to the point that when it was parents evening in fourth year, my folks went to speak to my P.E. teacher who went "Sorry, Scott who?...ah you mean Mackie, yes good keeper shame hes only 4 foot tall...no fear though"

Even now, I don't like answering to Scott, I much prefer Mackie.

Marcel is reading this thread so I'm not saying what mine is :)

Lynty.... (must have taken them ages to think that one up!)

oh and a few others not mentioning on here....

People just have too much respect for me to give me a nick name.
I'm sure "pinky" "sir hiss" "slippery little sucker" ( I think they said sucker anyway :D)
"hissy" and the others are all terms of endearment

Family name on here is Nige (but pronounced Nidge without prononcing the d).

Some people call me Nig, and one person use to add Nog on it, quite embarrassing, as she didn't realise it has been used as a racist word in the past...I had to explain it to her.

My son's name is Theo. I argured with SWMBO I wanted it to be Fyo, as I am unable to pronounce 'th' sound. I call him Fiat. My daughter Daisy is Daze.

Oh and I'm known as Zulfi by photography friends.

Mine is my user name here...freak accident boy. The reason is self explanatory really. My old company almost had to resort to giving me my own accident book and one of my best friends is convinced he'd be safe walking through a war zone with me as I would attract any random gunfire, leaving him unmarked
