Nice number plate

At first I thought a boy racer in his Citroen...But as it is a £50K Jaguar perhaps not :)

Someone local to me in Alnwick has X1. Must be worth a fortune.
And J11MNY on a Suzuki Jimny.

A neighbour has a friend with the reg BBW, my neighbour is rather voluptuous :)

My retired GP had VD1 and his wife had 1VD :)

Anyone care to guess what these two are worth? Spotted at Lancaster Gate a few years ago.

f*** all? & Alcoholic Anonymous could be worth a few drinks. :)
Exactly my thoughts. But seriously, the plates are worth more than the vehicles these days. As I don't know how old the picture is.

I'm willing to bet that 1 FA was owned by the Football Association, which had its HQ at Lancaster Gate at the time.

I have no idea about 1 AA though. The Automobile Association doesn't have a significant presence in London, and Alcoholics Anonymous doesn't have the kind of centralised structure which would be conducive to personalised number plates. Are there any other organisations which use the initials AA?

Cool, in that case I'd say the vehicle value is more than the plates :)

Do the AA have a private members club like the RAC? I've been to the RAC one a few times in St James's. Perhaps their courtesy vehicle?

There is an Aston Martin in Cheyne walk Chelsea with the reg 2BEE in the drive next to a Range Rover reg NOT2B.... Seen it quite a few times but always been driving....

Nice combination :)

Best I've ever seen was UFO 1 in Windsor. It was on a Ferrari Testarossa in 1996.

I saw 147 MAX in Milton Keynes a couple of weeks ago - guessing it belongs to a snooker player?

Also at local classic car shows a guy has 4 RAG and RAG 4 on his cars.

Two local favourites - a few years ago there was a car in Edinburgh with SUE 1M - presumably a lawyer (it was a Jag, in a rather nice area of town). Another good one was M8 SUX (the M8 is the rather dubious 'motorway' that runs between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There were a couple of cars in our area with appropriate regs.
One was an accountant; MR.P 123
Another was a history teacher; TEN 66

A lecturer at college years ago had a Mini (proper one) with the number ORG 169. It was spaced to read ORGI 69!

I don't get that one

Oooh I went there once.
Properly posh!

Once saw a Silver Spur with the registration ARO 11S. The character spacing was non-standard, however.

Around where I live there's now a plethora of plates spelling (or attempting to) a persons name, often attached to a Range Rover or similar or a Mini. I'm not keen on 'Americanisms' generally, but this is one area they have the name right - vanity plates

Wouldn't buy a plate but the old NOD set of letters is local so it's almost surprising that I've never ended up with any of them! Mrs Nod's car came with her normal name as the 3 letter suffix and was also the only one of the model available within 100 miles. I reckon she spent too much on the car but the plate could be worth the overspend to the right person at the right time, although now she has it, she might keep it.

The best I ever saw was G5 NOT Spaced G 5NOT on a snot green TVR, I had a picture but can't find it.

I've seen a several 2011 Vauxhalls in the area with apt number plates, they all started DU11. Seeing one would have been odd enough but several more so as DU isn't a local prefix.
I know someone with a Ferrari, reg number is 2500, oddly no letters at all. Fairly sure he has a similar plate on an Audi too.

2BE and NOT2B are parked beside each other along the Chelsea Embankment - easily seen if you are traveling eastbound.

2500 doesn't exist as a reg number on a Ferrari according to the DVLA's site. Neither do 250 O, 25 OO or 2 SOO
