Hi

I use CS4 extended. I copyright my work, however, I can't see a nice font which takes my eye in CS4. (Maybe that's because I'm a woman).;)

Is there anywhere I can download some fonts for free? I've seen some nice fonts on here.

Many thanks.

I'd recommend both FontSquirrel and DaFont too - but as said, check licenses thoroughly if using commercially, especially with DaFont.

I always try to find the original source as that will most likely have the correct info.

MyFonts has some free stuff too, but you have to search a bit! Abstract Fonts is similar to DaFont.

http://fontfabric.com/category/free/ - Some fantastic display fonts here!

Hi

Thanks ever so much for the information, greatly apprecaited.

Just as a quick test, I've downloaded a free font. It's sitting in a file on my desktop but how do I get that into cs4?

Many thanks.

Hi

I'm on a pc. I've just found a tutorial on youtube.

I can't find 'fonts' in cs4 though. (I have to go back to work now, will check back later).

Thanks.

you can usually copy the font files directly into the fonts folder in your windows folder

eg:

C:\Windows\Fonts\

They should then be available in most if not all of your applications, including word etc.

Thanks for the replies. All sorted now.

There's a nice script font called 'Satisfaction' that I use from time to time.
