Guys just thought I'd give you a heads up on some new batteries I,ve just bought. I got a few sets for my flashes and BOY do they deliver! The old duracells used to give about eight seconds recharge after a full power pop. The new ones are 2700 mAh made by Uniross under the name "Encore" they have jolted the flash into a TWO SECOND recharge after a full pop  and anything less than full power seems just about instant. I even have a home made wet cell pack that can't match this and it weighs a hell of a lot more.:D

From what I have been reading these are pretty good, but apparently nikon flashes don't like them because the recharge rate shuts them down on high temperature, but on others from what I have read they are working fine and are pretty impressive.

I haven't found a seller here in the uk yet but there are links on that site to sellers.

Thanks for that, I hadn't seen those NIzH batteries but I'm pretty glad ( they are scary:nuts:). I wouldn't fancy melting my flashguns! The Nimh ones just seem to go on forever. I just did about seventy full power pops with no problem until I got bored... ( the Canons dont have any temp gauge as on the sb900)
