I'm surprised no one has posted this yet, but...
Adobe has announced that the next release of Adobe Camera Raw (v9.1.1) will be the final version available for use with CS6.
After that update, if you need raw file support for any newly released cameras you'll have to use Adobe's free DNG Converter utility to convert the raw files into DNG files before editing with Photoshop CS6. Not the end of the world, but an additional step in your editing routine.
Alternatively you could switch to a Creative Cloud subscription, Lightroom standalone, or some other raw image processor.
I doubt anyone is shocked by this. I'm merely posting this for informational purposes.
