next printer from canon i865

My canon i865 is dead... ya cant get them anymore it seems.. whats the latest version.. next one up or whatever.. I cant seem to find.. lots out there but all them letters and numbers

anyone?

Ha, the i865, I have that, and a bag full of ink carts, the summer of 06 I wasnt at home. came back to find the print heads had clogs, and after isoprofil alcoholic and jiggery pokery I managed to get the black to work so ever since its been downgraded from a very good colour printer to a bogstandard black and white.

Regards your question (sorry!) I dont really know, I guess the epson equiv (625?) or the pix... line.

Mine has ink running into black so black becomes a murky brown... I replaced the printhead and that didnt fix it so mines just a black/white printer now...

would rather stick to canon.. I think epson you cant change the printhead as built in.. at least the one i had you couldnt.. not that it hlepd me above..

A thought. Pop into Wilkinson Cameras. They're Canon dealers. I've bought a few items from their Preston store. Whilst they may not be the cheapest around they can be competitive.

Shops in Burnley and Blackburn. If you're just browsing the best time I've found is mid morning, when they're not too busy.

ahh the i865 and i850's were awesome printers. I have both going here.

I'm going to say that maybe Canon's iP4200 might fit the bill.
