What's next on your kit list?

(I'm sure noone has EVERYTHING they need/want, I know I don't!).

My next purchases will (hopefully) be the following:

1) New body - 40D or perhaps a 5D if I can get enough money together. With a grip for whichever I buy.
2) 70-200mm f/4. The IS version, but again, if I can afford it.

What are yours?

I need nothing, but I can always add more.

I want more time to get out there and light to work with.

Want? ahhhh, now thats different.

Nikon 70-200 F2.8 VR [and x2 converter]- when I can afford it - although I plan to hire one for next weekend :woot: .... except then I will have to give it back... :shake:

Otherwise, a Sigma 150mm Macro is just behind it on the list.

Want: 40d body and MP-e 65 please :D
 
Just put 2K's worth of fishing tackle on e-bay in order to fund a couple of decent lenses. Want a Canon 100-400 lens before christmas and a Sigma 105 soon after. Only been in this game for a fortnight and been bitten by the bug badly.
 
Next fro me is the Nikkor 70-200VR, when the budget allows...
 
i would like a kit lens replacement (sigma 18-50 F/2.8 or canon 17-40 F4 L if i can afford it) and a decent macro lens - same as Alby, the canon MP-E65
 
I'm torn between the TS-E45 or a 135L....I could ruin the reputation of either of them.

Want = Hasselblad H3D-II :lol:

Next buy a ND filter or off shoe flash cord
 
I dont really need anything im happy with my lenses but I would love a 135 f2L as i use the 70-200 at that focal range a lot and would love a fast prime at that range.
 
Seriously may look at a 1Ds III, but it is a lot of money.

The question is the extra file size and resolution going to make all that much difference over my %d for the work I do.

Will probably wait 6 months before buying anyway, make sure no bugs and let the price drop a bit ( I hope)

Exactly the same as you, but I dont think the budget can qute stretch to the IS though!:bang:

So maybe a 40D might be the next thing on my list after all - but with a 24-105 lens though.
 
Wants: sturdy, lightweight tripod,
macro lens,
basic set of Lee filters

Needs: know-how to use them properly,
better PS skills,
£££££s

I know I'm really really lucky to have what I've already got and the above kit is just sheer greed ....... but it doesn't stop me wishing

Needs : nothing really

Wants : a longish prime of reasonable price and performance.....400 L f5.6 looks like a winner

Really wants : some talent to actually use the kit I have !
 
New pair of site boots, concrete mixer, TP Straps x 2.


Oh, and my wife back, that's the third time she's been back to UK this year (and she's bringing me a 70-200 f4L)!

No I use a bracket with my 430 for a while, else get it all in one go it wouldn't be any fun anymore :lol:
 
needs: 50mm f1.8
wants: 800mm f5.6
really wants: 3000mm f1.2 :D
