Next Nikon Cashback scheme date?

Just realised i've missed out on the Xmas deals by a week or so... Looking for a 105mm Vr Macro and it would've been £565 with the cashback, Panamoz sell for £532.

Should i hold out for the next Cashback offer (Easter??) or just jump in now, not in any immediate rush but the moneys burning a hole in my pocket!

Can't remember last year when the next one after Xmas was!? Anybody?

Last years spring cashback started 14th March but IIRC it was only on bodies or kits.

Have you found any reviews to support that, I can't find any side-by-side comparisons or independent tests?

Yes.

1. My own experience ; Have used a friends Nikon version for a couple of months before purchasing the Sigma.

2. Bought the Sigma after reading a comparison review of Macro lenses in the Future Publishing N Photo Magazine 'Ultimate
Nikon SLR Handbook (Volume 2). It is very rare for an N Photo Magazine publication to rate a non Nikon lens higher than a Nikon lens !
In this case, I found that they were spot on with their 5 Star review result for the Sigma.
Lab test results on Sharpness, Colour Fringing, and Distortion, showed the Sigma 105 to be far superior against 7 other Macro lenses,
including 3 Nikon, 2 other Sigma and 2 Tamron.

I bought the magazine/book in W H Smiths, and I think it is still available. It makes interesting reading if you are in the market for a
Macro for your Nikon.
